Factory Machine Operator


We are seeking a skilled Factory Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Malindi. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment used in the production process. Your main duties will include setting up machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines (such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders) based on specifications provided by production managers
- Operate machinery to produce parts according to production plans
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on machines to ensure their optimal functionality
- Monitor machine operations to identify any issues or defects in products
- Make necessary adjustments to machines or processes to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications before sending them for packaging
- Record production data and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as a Factory Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of different types of machinery used in the production process
- Familiarity with operating systems such as CNC, PLC, or CAD/CAM
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required
