Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager (Malindi, Kenya)


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services and amenities to potential guests and travel agents. Your role will be crucial in driving revenue and ensuring the success of our hotel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new guests and maintain relationships with existing ones
- Identify potential business opportunities by attending trade shows, networking events, and conducting market research
- Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, advertisements, and packages to increase sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other key partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Train and mentor sales staff to ensure their success in meeting targets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or related industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and market trends
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month plus commission based on performance.
