Android Developer



We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our growing team in Shan, Malaysia. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our product team to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and user-friendly mobile solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of apps developed
- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with third-party libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, or RxJava
- Knowledge of Material Design principles
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Shan, Malaysia (local candidates preferred)

Type: Full-time, no remote option available
