Interpreter/Translator

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interpreter/Translator to join our team in Shan, China. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation and translation services for various business meetings, conferences, and events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both English and the local language, as well as a strong understanding of cultural differences. As an Interpreter/Translator, your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Providing verbal interpretation between English and the local language during meetings, conferences, or other events
- Translating written documents from English to the local language and vice versa with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintaining confidentiality of all interpreted/translated information
- Conducting research on industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate interpretation/translation
- Building relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored interpretation/translation services
- Assisting with any administrative tasks related to interpretation/translation services

Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and the local language (Chinese/Mandarin)
- Proven experience as an interpreter/translator in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and ability to adapt communication accordingly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Valid visa to work in China (preferably own visa)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this part-time position.

This position is located in Shan, China.
