Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Temporary)
Our 5-star hotel in Shan is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen on a temporary basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes that will delight our guests and elevate their dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design Indian menu offerings, taking into consideration guest preferences, dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all Indian dishes to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
- Manage inventory, food cost and budget for the Indian cuisine kitchen
- Collaborate with other department heads to plan events, promotions and special menus featuring Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Indian cooking techniques, spices and ingredients
- Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Must have valid work authorization in Shan
