Surveyor


We are currently hiring a Surveyor to join our team in the city of Shan, Canada. In this role, you will work on various construction and development projects, using specialized equipment and techniques to accurately measure and map land and buildings. You will also work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet design specifications and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine land boundaries, elevations, and other topographical features
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels to collect data
- Create maps and plans using computer software
- Provide accurate measurements for construction projects such as roads, buildings, pipelines, etc.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that project designs are feasible and comply with regulations
- Prepare reports and drawings for clients
- Conduct research on land records and historical data to inform surveying activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying or a related field
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in using computer software for mapping and drafting (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for working with clients and collaborating with other professionals
