Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our luxury resort in Eschen. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while also managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to guests
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage the budget for the kitchen operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury resort setting
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and plating presentation
- Creative flair for developing new dishes that are both visually appealing and delicious
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of budgeting procedures
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (English preferred)
