Head Chef
As the Head Chef at our Indian restaurant in Eschen, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that showcase the vibrant and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, while also managing inventory, maintaining food safety standards, and creating new menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistency in quality and efficiency
- Create new dishes and update menus to showcase traditional and modern Indian flavors
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures and HACCP guidelines
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
- Creativity and passion for creating new dishes that will excite our customers' taste buds
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Eschen (relocation assistance may be provided for non-local candidates)
