Pastry Chef at Eschen, Liechtenstein
We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Eschen, Liechtenstein. As a pastry chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing mouth-watering desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats that will delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and present a variety of desserts and pastries that meet the high standards of our restaurant
- Work with the executive chef to develop new dessert menus and specials
- Ensure all pastries are made fresh daily and maintain inventory control to minimize waste
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel setting
- Passion for creating delicious desserts using high-quality ingredients
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods for different types of pastries
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills in English (German language skills would be an advantage)
- Must hold relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
