Network and Systems Administrator (Malayalees/Filipinos)

We are a fast-growing company in need of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. As the primary administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our network infrastructure, servers, and other IT systems. You will ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of our systems through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades. This position requires excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently. Preference will be given to Malayalees or Filipinos with experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform regular backups of servers and data storage systems
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve any problems that arise
- Install software updates and security patches as needed
- Manage user accounts and permissions for various systems
- Identify potential security threats and implement measures to prevent them
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop solutions for technical issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills in English (Malayalee or Filipino language is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
