Information Security Analyst - Mauren, Egypt or Philippines


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Mauren. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment methods, and vulnerability management. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security threats, implementing and maintaining security measures, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. You must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a contract position without accommodation provided, so candidates must have their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches
- Identify and analyze security risks and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement necessary security controls
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and industry best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of security protocols (e.g. TLS/SSL), risk assessment methods, and vulnerability management
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark)
- Knowledge of common operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) are a plus
