Collector for Debt Collection Agency in Malindi, Kenya
We are a well-established debt collection agency based in Malindi, Kenya, seeking a Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be from Pakistan and possess strong English speaking skills. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of debt collection.
As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses who owe money to our clients and persuading them to pay their debts. You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Key responsibilities:
- Contacting debtors via phone, email or letter to discuss outstanding debts
- Negotiating payment plans or settlements with debtors
- Keeping accurate records of all communications with debtors
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all laws and regulations related to debt collection
- Providing regular updates on progress to clients
- Utilizing various methods to locate debtors who have changed their contact information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong English speaking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Previous experience in debt collection is not required but preferred
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month, with the possibility of bonuses based on performance. Accommodation can also be provided for candidates who require it.
