You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our data, as well as resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database management and a strong understanding of database languages such as SQL and Oracle. Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing databases according to business needs
- Ensuring the security and integrity of data
- Monitoring database performance and making necessary improvements
- Troubleshooting issues that may arise with databases

- Conducting regular backups and testing recovery procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proven experience with database languages such as SQL, Oracle, etc.
- Strong understanding of database design principles
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python)
