Fitter Technician


We are a leading manufacturing company in Mauren, seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications. This role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper fit before assembly
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of hand/power tools and welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
