Library Assistant - Mauren, Liechtenstein


We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Mauren, Liechtenstein. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in maintaining the library's collection and providing excellent customer service to library patrons. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month. We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but proficiency in English is not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the librarian in cataloging and organizing library materials.
- Help patrons locate and check out books, magazines, and other materials.
- Answer questions and provide information about library services and policies.
- Manage library accounts, including issuing library cards and collecting fines.
- Assist with shelving and maintaining the organization of materials.
- Handle interlibrary loan requests from other libraries.
- Oversee the operation of public computers and assist patrons with basic technology needs.
- Conduct basic research for patrons upon request.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
