Instrument Technician for Biometric Passport Processing - Mauren, Switzerland


We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Mauren, Switzerland. As an Instrument Technician for Biometric Passport Processing, you will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating the equipment used in processing biometric passports. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.

Requirements:
- Must have experience working as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of biometric passport processing equipment is preferred
- Must have a valid biometric passport and be eligible to work in Switzerland
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and maintain the equipment used in processing biometric passports
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the processing of passports
- Follow all technical manuals and procedures for operating the equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and calibration activities
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient processing of passports
- Stay updated on any changes or updates related to biometric passport technology
