Plasterboard Worker
We are a construction company based in Triesen, seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard on walls and ceilings in both residential and commercial properties. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$, perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the construction industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with plasterboard
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have own transportation to job sites
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard according to blueprints
- Apply joint tape and compound to seal gaps between sheets
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces with patching compounds
- Sand down rough spots and smooth out surfaces for painting or wallpapering
- Maintain a clean worksite and dispose of waste materials properly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or trade school training preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures when working with plasterboard materials
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy sheets of plasterboard as needed
