Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's network infrastructure, servers, and computer systems. This role is suitable for men of any nationality who have a strong technical background and are passionate about creating efficient and secure network solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and security settings
- Install and configure servers, operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices
- Keep systems up-to-date with security patches and software updates
- Backup data regularly to ensure data integrity
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network or system issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to recommend new technologies or upgrades to improve efficiency
- Document network configurations and procedures for easy reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator (2+ years)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN design principles, network security concepts (firewalls/VPNs), and wireless networks
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems (Active Directory)
and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in English (German is an advantage but not required)

Salary: 1300$ per month
