Experienced Glazier in Balzers



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Glazier to join our team in Balzers. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and storefronts. You will also measure and cut glass to fit specific shapes and sizes, apply sealant and putty to secure glass panels, and repair or replace damaged glass.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Glazier
- Strong knowledge of different types of glass and glazing techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Excellent measuring skills for precise cutting of glass
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy glass panels
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific shapes and sizes according to blueprints or measurements.
- Install, repair or replace various types of glass including tempered, laminated, insulated, or tinted.
- Use hand tools such as pliers, putty knives, glazing knives, caulking guns etc. for cutting or shaping glass.
- Apply sealant or putty around edges of the glass panes for weatherproofing.
- Perform repairs on cracked or broken windows by removing old damaged pieces and installing new ones.
- Install window frames made of wood, aluminum or vinyl.
- Use measuring tapes or rulers for accurate measurement calculations.
- Ensure safety measures are followed while working with heavy equipment such as scaffolds or ladders.
