Preservation Architect in Balzers, Liechtenstein
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a leading preservation firm in the country, we specialize in restoring and conserving historic buildings and structures. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving cultural heritage and a strong understanding of architectural history and conservation techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary restoration or conservation work
- Develop detailed plans for preservation projects, including cost estimates and timelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation work is carried out according to industry standards and regulations
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion within budget
- Conduct research on historical buildings, materials, and construction methods to inform preservation strategies
- Document all work done on preservation projects for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation or Conservation
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Preservation Architect on historic buildings or structures
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software is preferred
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide accommodation for our employees.
Nationality Preference:
While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, we are specifically looking for Indian candidates who have experience working on similar preservation projects.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is not required but preferred. The ability to communicate effectively in English will be considered an advantage.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must possess a valid biometric passport with at least 6 months remaining before expiration. This is a requirement for obtaining a work permit in Liechtenstein.
