Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring a variety of Indian dishes, taking into account customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to stay within budget
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or special promotions
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Proven track record of creating innovative and authentic Indian dishes that appeal to a diverse customer base
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle high-volume orders while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques specific to Indian cuisine
- Fluent in English; additional language skills in Hindi or other Indian languages preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1500 per month
