As a Dismantler in our automotive salvage yard, you will play a crucial role in the processing and dismantling of vehicles. Your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently remove parts from vehicles and prepare them for resale. This includes using hand tools and power tools to disassemble parts, carefully removing fluids and hazardous materials, and organizing salvaged parts for inventory. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures, and assisting with inventory management. A successful candidate for this position must have previous experience in automotive repair or dismantling, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This physically demanding job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time.
