Executive Chef (Multan, Pakistan)
An upscale restaurant in Multan is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation and presentation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus that meet our customers' expectations and align with our restaurant's concept
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food ordering, inventory management, and scheduling of kitchen staff
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and food safety procedures
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste through proper inventory management and portion control
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Urdu/Hindi is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
Compensation:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position. Please note that accommodation is not provided.
