Head Chef (Multan, Pakistan)

As a Head Chef at our restaurant in Multan, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations. You will use your culinary expertise to create and maintain high-quality dishes, manage kitchen staff, and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and design new menus in line with current food trends and customer preferences
- Supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Train new employees and ensure ongoing training for existing staff
- Monitor food preparation methods and quality to maintain high standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs by minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create specials and promotions
- Oversee purchasing of food supplies and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate employees
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with other staff members and management
- Attention to detail in menu planning, food preparation, plating presentation, etc.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Education/Certification:

A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. Relevant certifications or training courses will also be considered.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
