Part-Time Database Administrator
Location: Gujrat, India



Our growing company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team in Gujrat, India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration and will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of our databases. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure data availability and security
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Backup and restore databases as needed
- Develop and maintain database documentation including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database query performance
- Perform regular security audits to ensure data protection
- Identify areas for improvement in database processes and work to implement solutions
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to database administration

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security and integrity protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data sets
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Salary:
$1400 per month (part-time)
