Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Gujrat, India. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images into visually appealing layouts for various print and digital publications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with editors and designers to create layout designs for books, magazines, newspapers, and other publications
- Use desktop publishing software to format text and images according to established style guidelines
- Proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency
- Ensure all materials meet printing specifications and deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve design processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in graphic design or related field is preferred
- Prior experience as a typesetter or in a similar role is not required but may be beneficial
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or Microsoft Publisher
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
