Data Mining Analyst


As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for retrieving, analyzing, and organizing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Your role will involve using various data mining tools and techniques to extract valuable information from complex datasets. You will work closely with the team to identify business needs and create data mining strategies to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and data collection from various sources
- Cleaning and organizing raw data for analysis
- Applying statistical techniques to analyze data and identify trends
- Developing predictive models based on analyzed data
- Creating reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with team members to identify business problems and provide solutions through data analysis
- Staying updated with industry trends and new data mining tools/techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or related field
- Proficient in using SQL, Excel, R or Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with statistical techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, decision trees etc.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills to present findings effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
