Freelance Interpreter


We are in need of a skilled Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Faisalabad. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating spoken communication from one language to another. Your main duties will include attending meetings, conferences, and other events and providing simultaneous or consecutive interpretation as needed. You should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of cultural differences, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation from one language to another during meetings, conferences, and other events
- Ensure that all parties involved understand the translated information correctly
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research technical terms and idiomatic expressions for accuracy during interpretation
- Follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information
- Adapt quickly to speech patterns and vocabulary of speakers in order to provide accurate interpretation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or in a related field (preferred)
- Fluency in at least two languages (English and Urdu required)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards different accents and dialects
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Proficient computer skills
- Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening or weekend assignments

We offer competitive compensation of 1200$ per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is provided along with a free flight ticket.
