Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect in Faisalabad, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to assess the condition of buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee the implementation of restoration projects. Your expertise in architectural history, materials science, and conservation techniques will be crucial in ensuring that these important structures are preserved for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and identify areas in need of preservation
- Developing preservation plans that take into account the historical significance of the building, its structural integrity, and any local regulations or laws
- Collaborating with engineers to create detailed restoration plans that address structural issues while preserving the building's original design and materials
- Overseeing construction teams during the restoration process to ensure that work is carried out according to the preservation plan
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments to the restoration plan
- Communicating with clients throughout the process to keep them informed on progress and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Conducting research on historical buildings and materials to inform preservation plans and ensure accuracy in restoration work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, materials science, and conservation techniques
- Experience working with construction teams on historic restoration projects
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and make necessary adjustments to preservation plans

Salary:
Salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Faisalabad. Visa sponsorship is available for non-local candidates.
