Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Karachi. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You should have a strong understanding of the Android platform and be familiar with current trends and best practices in mobile development.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Android Developer
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Google's Material Design principles for UI/UX design
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Experience developing biometric passport applications is a plus

Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
