Welder - Biometric Passport Production

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Karachi and assist with the production of biometric passports. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various parts of the passport, ensuring they meet quality standards. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Additionally, you must have experience with welding techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine weld specifications
- Assemble and weld various parts of the biometric passport
- Inspect welded parts for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during welding processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Experience with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:
- Certification in welding from a vocational or trade school
- Experience working with biometric passports or other sensitive documents
