Junior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models. You will work closely with the senior engineers to develop solutions that meet our company's objectives. Your main duties will include data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, as well as testing and debugging code. You will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing machine learning systems.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Experience with programming languages such as Python, R or Java is required. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is also desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
- Preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.
- Perform feature engineering to extract relevant features from data.
- Train and evaluate models using appropriate metrics.
- Test and debug code to ensure efficient performance.
- Maintain and optimize existing machine learning systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R or Java).
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with data preprocessing techniques (data cleaning, normalization).
- Ability to write efficient code with good documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
