Head Chef


A well-established restaurant in Lahore is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain consistency
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and promotions
- Manage food cost control by minimizing waste, monitoring portion sizes, and negotiating with suppliers
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance and cleaning

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food cost control techniques and inventory management principles
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of local language is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1400$ per month along with other benefits including health insurance, annual leave, etc.
