Pastry Chef - Lahore, Pakistan



A well-established restaurant in Lahore is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious desserts and pastries to the highest quality and standards. We are looking for a creative candidate with a passion for pastry making and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake various types of desserts, pastries, cakes, and breads
- Create new recipes while also following existing ones accurately
- Decorate pastries and desserts to enhance their appearance
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts while maintaining their taste and quality
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise junior staff members
- Creativity and passion for pastry making
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Certification in Food Safety/Hygiene is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with other benefits.
