We are in search of a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Karachi. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various database management systems and a strong understanding of database design, maintenance, and security protocols. This full-time position requires at least 3 years of experience in database administration and is suitable for male candidates who already have their own visa. Accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain company databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
- Design and implement effective database structures to meet business needs.
- Optimize database performance through regular maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop data-driven solutions for business operations.
- Develop policies and procedures for database usage, access, security, and disaster recovery.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for database administration.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle), SQL query language, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with database security protocols such as access control, authentication methods, encryption techniques, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
