Dismantler Technician
As a Dismantler Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling and removing various mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from vehicles and machinery. This includes engines, transmissions, axles, and other parts. You will work with hand and power tools to carefully remove parts without causing damage. You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow instructions closely. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. This role requires physical strength and stamina as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and experience in dismantling is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles and machinery using hand and power tools
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Carefully remove parts without causing damage
- Sort and organize removed parts for storage or disposal
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report any damaged or missing parts to supervisor
- Follow instructions from supervisor regarding specific dismantling procedures
- Maintain tools in good working condition
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in vehicle dismantling preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physically fit with ability to lift heavy parts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
