Data Mining Specialist


As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting large sets of complex data to identify patterns, trends and insights. You will use advanced statistical and analytical methods to extract meaningful information and make recommendations to improve business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop strategies to address them. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data mining techniques, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive research on large datasets using various data mining tools and techniques
- Develop and implement data mining models, algorithms and statistical methods
- Identify patterns, trends and correlations in the data to provide actionable insights
- Communicate findings through reports, visualizations or presentations to different stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and design effective solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality, integrity and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or related fields
- Strong knowledge of data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, decision trees etc.
- Proficient in using programming languages such as SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS)
- Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
- Experience working with biometric or passport-related datasets
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month, along with health benefits and other perks.

Location:
This position is based in Khanpur, but remote work options can be considered for the right candidate.
