Contract Accountant - Khanpur
We are hiring a Contract Accountant to join our team in Khanpur. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for handling all financial transactions and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and support for decision making processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
- Experience with biometric passport systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
