Contract Office Assistant - Khanpur, Pakistan
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Khanpur. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in an office environment and possess strong communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and route them appropriately
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and invoicing
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Administration is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or similar role
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners) and basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu is a plus)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask efficiently
