Head Pastry Chef



As a Head Pastry Chef at our luxury hotel in Khanpur, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the pastry department. You will use your creativity, leadership skills, and expertise to create delicious and visually stunning pastries for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new and unique pastry recipes that meet the dietary and cultural preferences of our guests
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior pastry chefs to ensure high-quality production and consistency in all pastries served
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health codes
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the kitchen team and events team, to plan and execute special events with pastry offerings
- Monitor food costs and develop strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients to constantly improve our pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, baking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail for plating presentations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or relevant field
