Cruise Line Chef for Indian Cuisine in Lusail
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team on a luxury cruise line in Lusail. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and high-quality dishes for our guests, while also managing the kitchen staff and ensuring all food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the preparation of all Indian dishes on board the cruise ship
- Create menus that showcase the diverse flavors of Indian cuisine
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef, preferably in a cruise line or luxury hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional specialties
- Ability to manage a team and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be able to obtain necessary visas/permits to work in Lusail
Salary: $1000 per month (plus gratuities)
Location: Lusail, Qatar
Note: This position is open to all nationalities; however, preference will be given to candidates with Indian nationality or experience working with Indian cuisine. Fluency in English is required. No prior experience on cruise lines necessary but would be considered an asset.
