Computer Support Specialist
Our rapidly growing tech company in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Computer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and assistance to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving any hardware or software issues they may encounter. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating computer systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month, including accommodation and a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for both desktops and laptops
- Install and configure new computer systems for clients
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance
- Keep track of inventory levels for computer equipment
- Update computer systems with the latest software patches and updates
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities in our system for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10
- Familiarity with Mac OS is a plus
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
