Part-Time Back-End Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team on a part-time basis in Lisbon. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. This is a part-time role with the potential for full-time hours in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and debug server-side web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure data security and protection
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js or Django
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary:
$1300 per month (based on full-time hours)

Lisbon, Portugal

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Knowledge of front-end languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
