Junior JAVA Developer (Contract) - Lisbon, Portugal


We are a dynamic software development company seeking a Junior JAVA Developer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using the latest technologies. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement JAVA-based applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of core JAVA concepts including OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Proficient in using Java EE technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and EJBs
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript is desirable but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
