Junior Android Developer


As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our senior developers to understand project requirements and implement solutions using the latest Android technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of mobile app development.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of Java programming language
- Familiarity with Android SDK and development tools such as Android Studio
- Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (accommodation not provided)
