Data Mining Analyst


We are hiring a Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can provide valuable insights for our company's decision-making process. The ideal candidate will have experience in data mining techniques and tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with complex data sets. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data mining algorithms to extract relevant information from large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify potential opportunities for data mining projects
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and software tools
- Identify patterns and trends in data that can provide valuable insights for business decisions
- Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Continuously monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data mining techniques and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL, R, Python or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working with large datasets using statistical methods (e.g. regression analysis, clustering)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately and effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Valid work permit/visa for Portugal (preferred)
