Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator in Lisbon, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases. Your primary role will be to ensure the security, availability, and performance of our databases and their associated applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and optimize as needed
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and access controls
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with database functionality or performance
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement database solutions for new projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with database backup/recovery, security, and performance monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position, with a preference for candidates who are available to work during regular business hours. Students are welcome to apply if they meet the experience requirements.
