Contract Software Tester


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Contract Software Tester to join our team in Lisbon. As a Contract Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and function properly. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$.

Responsibilities:
- Test software applications and systems for bugs, errors, and functionality
- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts
- Execute tests and record results
- Identify defects and work with development team to resolve them
- Report on testing progress and results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Experience writing test plans, cases, and scripts
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (e.g. black-box, white-box, regression)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience using testing tools such as Selenium or JMeter
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Must have own visa for working in Lisbon
