Interpreter in Lisbon


We are in need of an experienced Interpreter to join our team in Lisbon. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for providing interpretation services in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of different cultures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation between two or more languages
- Prepare for assignments by researching terminology and familiarizing with subject matter
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Utilize interpretation equipment when necessary
- Handle any technical issues that may arise during assignments

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an interpreter
- Fluent in English and another language (Spanish, French or German preferred)
- Strong knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and culture of both languages
- Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to travel for assignments if needed

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position. In addition, we provide accommodation for our employees who require it.

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. However, we are open to considering candidates from other nationalities who are able to legally work in the country.
