Our publishing company is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. Your attention to detail and proficiency in typography will ensure the accuracy and aesthetic appeal of our publications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications using typesetting software
- Proofread text for errors and ensure consistency in formatting
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to achieve desired layout and design
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the typesetting process
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles, layout, and design
- Excellent command of English language with keen eye for grammar and punctuation
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Publishing or related field
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS coding for digital publications
- Experience with book layout design is a plus
